Funky Town

I've been in a bit of a funk lately, but I won't bore you with its details. I'll announce instead that I'm going to use the power of blogging to change my attitude and de-funk myself. That's right, I am once again participating in NaBloPoMo, the annual challenge to bloggers everywhere to publish thirty posts in thirty days.

They won't all be pretty.
They won't all be witty.
But they'll be from me
for you to see.

See, the funk is lifting already and poetry is coming to the surface.
Welcome to November. Stop by every day this month. What's in store? I'm thinking of posts on the following: favorite food porn websites, Nellie Oleson, book clubs and how I'm not in one and so am living vicariously through my sister's, hair flair, what to do with your children's artwork, the $900.01 roasting pan I am about to get from my grocery store, the fact that Papa John's is FINALLY open in my neighborhood, books I've been reading, my own version of the 30-Day Shred called the "Turkey Day Tread," My Notebook that I've been too funked-out to expand of late, my continued fantasy of starting a second website despite the fact that I am struggling to maintain this one -- plus even more intriguing and exciting topics that I can't remember this minute but have written down somewhere.
Feels good to be back. What are your plans for this month?

So excited for 30 straight days of MEP. Intrigued by Nellie O. The funk will pass...

I'm with Lap, 30 days of Mep sounds DEEELIGHTFUL! I've missed you!

I'm doing NaNoWriMo. It started off with a bang yesterday when I wrote exactly zero words. ZERO. But I've got a bunch in my head. Does that count?

Nellie Oleson? I haven't heard that name in forever.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Can't wait to share your life with you on a daily basis this month!! I considered NaBloPoMo and am currently on track, but am not sure two days in a row is enough to assume I can do it.
Interested in hair flair and wondering if it is similar to flair hair, the visor/fake hair combo my husband is fond of sporting.
