Daily Grind

I'm getting a little weary of blogging every day. I'm not short on ideas so much as I am short on the time and energy to do them justice. For whatever reason though, I don't feel right allowing myself to "skip" since I committed to NaBloPoMo.
Today's cop-out post is a collection of quotations I found in My Notebook.
"The grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love and something to hope for." Alexander Chalmers (I don't know who Chalmers is. Do you? I've been meaning to investigate)
"Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." (seen on cover of a lovely journal at Paper Source)

And here are two quotations that I perhaps need to heed right now (both discovered from following @googlebooks on Twitter):
"Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt." Abe Lincoln
"A facility for quotation covers the absence of original thought." Dorothy L. Sayers, Lord Peter Wimsey in Gaudy Night

I'm accepting words of wisdom and encouragement.

I sit in admiration of your persistence in blogging every single day this month.

Wow.

You do know you can write a few posts and then just schedule them ahead of time, right? That's what I would do. Just sayin'.

Writing every day is hard. I tried that one month last year, and though I managed to do it, it really wasn't any fun.

I love Abe Lincoln; such wisdom. :)

I really like the quote by Abe Lincoln. I wish I could follow his advice more often - can't tell you how many times I have said something stupid!

If it helps, I'm really enjoying reading your posts every day. Makes me happy to log on in the morning and read what's going on with you. I have no wisdom, so does this small encouragement help??

I did Nablopomo Once. That was enough.

Be strong, Megan.

If it makes you feel better, I wish I could write...ever? I have So Much Fodder for a book over in these parts, and fear forgetting it all before I am able to jot any of it down. The fear is well-founded, given that I forgot to brush Acey's teeth for well over two weeks recently.

You are my hero for posting every day this month. I wish I had the stamina to post even every other day.

I always love reading your blog. Since the very first time I stumbled onto your corner of the internet, I have admired your wit, insight and smarts. Keep it up, my friend.

whether it is pics of my adorable niece and nephew, a good recipe, a witty story, or a picture of you with MistyLou....I have enjoyed the daily posts so much! Loves you Pooks!

I always love quotes. I did NaBloPoMo the past 2 years, and it's hard! Didn't do it this year, as I can't seem to post as often now that I'm back in the office. Hang in there - only one week to go!

This is the evil thing about blogging:

you always feel as if you do too much, but also feel that you dont' do enough.

Any time on blogging is time away from prioriteis (children, husband, meals, clean home, reading, exercise..) but no time on it and your blog could die.

IT's evil like that.

But: without it? I was lonely, lonely, and lonely.

SO, yes, the golden handcuffs.
